Niels made the Morgan Hill Times.
"Elder Karford, 21, is from Evergreen, Colo., and has been a missionary for 22 months, serving in San Jose, Salinas, Fremont and Livermore before arriving in Morgan Hill. After high school he was a basketball coach in Colorado. When he finishes the remaining two months of his mission, he plans to attend college and study either accounting or education."

Well, he went to so many of Gaylen's NASBA trips that he got this crazy idea that all accountants do is travel to exotic locations and eat steak and lobster all day. Mom proposed a little family gambling: we all put up $5 and a guess as to how long Niels' accounting stint will last. I believe in the Niels though—he could totally be a bean counter. :)
