The Truth about Hot Dogs

Spencer spent half his day yesterday shoveling—with a snow shovel—800 pounds of beef into vats at the LDS welfare meat-packing plant. The meat is ground up and then mixed, one squirt of lean meat for every two squirts of meat of unknown origin, in another machine. The liquid-state meat is then funneled into a plastic tube, where segments are strung up to create Oscar Meyer Weiners. Unfortunately, Spencer had a gas-station hot dog before he went in to volunteer. Not the best choice.
